The 2013 Energy and Mine Minister's Conference is coming to Yellowknife next August and NWT Tourism is calling for pre- and post-conference tours.

A news release issued by NWT Tourism asks businesses and tours from across the territory, which can be promoted on the tourism section of the conference website, to contact the tourism organization.

"This is an opportunity to market your business," stated NWT Tourism in the release. "Though the conference is being hosted in Yellowknife, delegate often choose to travel outside the capital city and we encourage operators from all regions to promote their packages."

More than 300 delegates, plus family members, from all over the country are expected to attend the Aug. 24 to Aug 27 conference.

Those interested can submit their business name, contact information, tour information and a tour photo to Elisabeth Laratta, the conference co-ordinator, in early December. The website is set to launch in January.
