Yellowknife's Academy of Learning celebrated its new management with a relaunch of the college last Wednesday.

Allison Kincaid, general manager of Genesis Group, and now general manager of the Academy of Learning as well, said the college is being totally revamped under the new management.

Benjamin Wright, who is taking a PC support specialist program at the career college, praised the past management of the academy for its support and welcomed the new Genesis Group management, which he said has already improved the school's operations.

Genesis Group took over management of the Academy last August.

Both businesses are 100 per cent owned by Nunasi Corp.
