Girl found dead in Hall Beach

SANIRAJAK/HALL BEACH
The death of 17-year-old girl in Hall Beach in the early morning hours of Nov. 24 is under investigation by RCMP, according to a press release police sent out that day.

Members of RCMP V Division's major crimes unit and forensic identification section flew immediately to Hall Beach from Iqaluit, according to the release.

Details are scant as the investigation is still in its "very early" stages, stated the report, adding more information will be released once it's available.
