NORTHWEST TERRITORIES
The Northwest Territories employment rate was 68.8 per cent in March, according to the NWT Bureau of Statistics, the same rate reported in February.

The number of employed persons in the territory did not change in March, as job gains were seen in part-time, private, and service categories, offset by job losses in full-time, self-employment and goods producing categories.

Recent employment numbers from Nunavut, based on the three months ending February 2012, pegged the territory's employment rate at 54.7 per cent.

In March, Canada's employment rate stood at 60.6 per cent.
