RCMP search for missing man
Timothy MacDonald, 54, has not been seen for more than a week

Yellowknife RCMP is asking for the public's assistance in finding a missing man. According to the Mounties, Timothy MacDonald, 54, has not been seen or heard from for more than a week.

Marie York-Condon, civilian media liaison for the RCMP, stated in an e-mail MacDonald was reported missing Tuesday morning by a person who last saw him a week ago yesterday in Yellowknife. She also stated RCMP believe he has been residing in Yellowknife. Police did not identify the person who reported MacDonald missing.

He is described as 5'10 to 5'11" tall with short, dark hair and a moustache. He could be dressed in a black shirt, jeans and white running shoes. He may also be wearing a baseball cap and carrying a green military backpack. Anyone knows the whereabouts of MacDonald is asked to contact RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
