Premier Bob McLeod less than 10 months into his second term at the helm of cabinet has shuffled which cabinet ministers are responsible for what departments.
The moves announced Sept. 2 include handing Industry, Tourism and Investment from McLeod to Wally Schumann, giving Robert C. McLeod Environment and Natural Resources from Schumann, and moving Municipal and Community Affairs from Robert C. McLeod to Caroline Cochrane.
Robert C. McLeod also loses Lands, with that being moved to Louis Sebert.
The moves come as the government eyes merging departments including Transportation and Public Works and Services to save money.
