Trong Phuoc Do: The 40-year-old was last seen March 10.

Kim Do, Trong's sister, told Yellowknifer in a brief interview that Do had lived in the city several years ago but had lived for a period in Saskatchewan.

"He was gone for years, he didn't live in Yellowknife. He came back in March and we saw him for a couple days and then after that we didn't see him," Kim Do said, adding he has two children who live in the city.

RCMP Const. Elenore Sturko said Do was living in the city when he went missing, although said she couldn't provide any personal information about Do's history because the federal Privacy Act restricts disclosure of information.

His sister wonders if Do may have left the city.

"I think he may have gone back (to Saskatchewan) but I don't know," she said.

She last saw him March 10.

"We went to Tim Hortons, we had a coffee with his wife, his son," she said, adding he had separated from his wife several years ago.

"Then we didn't see him."

According to an RCMP news release, Do was last seen that day in the downtown area. He was reported as missing by his family five days later.

"We're OK," she said when asked how she's doing.

There was no update from police early this week on the search for Do.

In the news release from RCMP issued Friday about his disappearance, police stated he may be driving a 2011 black Ford F150 truck with NWT licence plate number 322718.

Do, of Vietnamese descent, is described as five-foot-four-inches, 165 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. Anyone with information about where Do is or information that could help the investigation is asked to call RCMP or

Crime Stoppers.
