50/50 report delayed
A revised report to city council about options for the city-owned lot at the corner of 50 Avenue and 50 Street has been delayed. Last fall, council was told a report would come in January highlighting results of public consultation held in November which saw concepts presented that included an arts and culture centre building on the site.
City spokesperson Nalini Naidoo wrote in an e-mail the report has been pushed back to gather even more public input. In February, the city held meetings held in Ndilo and Dettah about the lot.
