NUNAVUT
Nunavut News/North has compiled an online package of information to assist voters in making a choice between the four Nunavut candidates in the Oct. 19 federal election.

Conservative candidate Leona Aglukkaq, NDP candidate Jack Anawak, Green candidate Spencer Rocchi and Liberal candidate Hunter Tootoo each appear in videos in which they describe the key points in their election platforms.

The website also contains links to all of Nunavut News/North's coverage of the federal election, including stories involving each of the Nunavut candidates, comments from readers, photos of the candidates on the campaign trail and quotes from party leaders.

Updates as winner declared

On election night, reporters Casey Lessard, Michele LeTourneau and Stewart Burnett will be camped out with federal election candidates as numbers roll in from Elections Canada.

Readers can follow real-time updates at our Nunavut federal election website throughout the evening as results from ridings are available.

The Nunavut News/North newsroom team is planning to interview the Nunavut MP-elect after the winner is declared and get comments from the other candidates for stories to be posted online when the final votes are tallied.
