The school was evacuated and students were moved to St. Patrick High School as the heavily armed RCMP emergency response team as well as other units responded. No bomb was found.

RCMP Const. Elenore Sturko said that currently the name of the individual in the photo is unknown. She said that police are asking for the public's assistance in identifying him.

He is described as male, between 5'6 and 5'8, weighing between 160 and 170 pounds. He was wearing a dark jacket with a hood, a light coloured toque, light coloured pants and dark shoes with white soles.

Sturko added that making threats of any kind should not be considered merely a hoax or a prank. In Canada this type of action is a crime, she said, and a threat of harm to the public can generate fear and is a burden on public safety resources.

This was the second bomb threat this year at a city school investigated by the Mounties. On Jan 16 a threat was made at St. Pat's and Weledeh School. The schools were also evacuated but no bomb was found. No one has been charged in either incident.
