A 30-year-old man accused of drug trafficking has been released on $2,000 bail.
Christopher Davies was arrested on Oct. 2 when RCMP raided a Kam Lake home. Inside, they found large amounts of guns, cocaine, marijuana and cash. Three others were arrested. RCMP say the accused have gang ties.
Davies, from Langely, B.C., will have a curfew from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. and be required to report to RCMP twice a week as conditions of his release.
His next court date is set for Oct. 22 in Yellowknife.

Drive safe Yellowknife
RCMP says it'll be stepping up traffic enforcement over the Thanksgiving long weekend.
Among the things they'll be looking out for are impaired drivers, speeders, people prohibited from driving and people not wearing seatbelts.
Police ask the public to take care and report any dangerous driving they witness, or anyone who they suspect of driving while impaired.

Multimedia show coming to Fort Simpson
An art show featuring numerous mediums will be coming to Fort Simpson later this month.
The show, titled Spin, is inspired by the true story of Annie Londonderry, the first woman to cycle around the world in 1894. The show is part theatre, part music, part spoken word and part documentary, said Marie Coderre, executive and artistic director of the Northern Arts and Cultural Centre. She said multimedia will play in the background, as well as three people on stage and a bicycle which will switch into a musical instrument.
"It's about feminism and it's about the birth of the advertisement in the late 19th century through the story of Annie Londonderry, who did the first world bike tour," said Coderre.
"It's going to be a very interesting show since there is lots of different art disciplines that are mixed together."
The 75-minute show, featuring Toronto-based artist Evalyn Parry, will tour five communities starting Oct. 14, before closing in Fort Simpson on Oct. 21 at the recreation centre.
The centre will return in November and February with different shows.
Dentist visits
The dentist will be in Fort Simpson from Oct. 11 to 15 and in Fort Liard on Oct. 17 and 18 at the communities' health centres.
Four youths to attend conference
Four Wrigley youths will travel to Edmonton to attend the Dreamcatcher Aboriginal Youth Conference on Oct. 18 and 19.
The four male youths, aged 13 and 14, will attend youth workshops during the conference on subjects such as youth empowerment, anti-bullying and suicide prevention, said Gayle Moses with Pehdzeh Ki First Nation.
She said the last time community youth attended the conference was in 2009. Moses said it is important they attend so they can learn new skills, as well as meet new people.
"All good things they should know," she said.
"The Dreamcatcher is an educational, learning, youth empowerment conference. So the kids, they get to learn about themselves, self-esteem."
Police investigate death
Inuvik RCMP are saying little about the discovery of a body at the Niijha Apartments on Tununuk Place on Oct. 3.
Two RCMP cruisers and an ambulance were parked on the crescent at noon on Oct. 3.
Sgt. Scott Young, who is filling in for the detachment commander, would say only that the investigation is continuing. A media release stated "Inuvik RCMP are currently investigating a sudden death of a 19-year-old female. Although the investigation is ongoing, the death is not considered suspicious at this time. Inuvik RCMP will not be releasing any further information at this time as the matter is still under investigation."
Alforno's seeks permit
Inuvik municipal staff and council are tight-lipped over a development permit filed by Talal Khatib.
Khatib is the owner of the Alforno's Restaurant building at the corner of Mackenzie Road and Tununuk Place. The building suffered significant damage in a fire two weeks ago and the cause remains under investigation. No damage estimate has been released and Khatib said the restaurant was not insured. The cause has been deemed suspicious but the fire marshal's office has not commented further.
Senior administrative officer Grant Hood said Oct. 7 that he couldn't release any details on the application. Fire Chief Jim Sawkins said the application was to rebuild the structure. He said it has been filed but not approved.
Derelict building fire
Inuvik Fire Chief Jim Sawkins said firefighters were called to the derelict buildings at Inuit and Kugmallit roads again Oct. 6.
The fire was restricted to Unit 27, he said, and minimal damage occurred.
Sawkins said he had his firefighters remove the staircases to all of the units. That's something that should have been done already under the terms of a Fire Marshal's order.
Several fires have now occurred at the site over the last few months and negotiations continue between Talal Khatib, who represents the numbered corporation which owns the buildings, and the town.
Sawkins said last month the case is likely headed for court.
NorthMart donates
The Inuvik NorthMart store is donating $10,000 to the East Three breakfast program.
Store manager Matthew Clark made a donation of $5,000 to the program Oct. 8. A second donation of $5,000 will follow in February.
The program serves 275 breakfasts a week to students. It also provides a healthy snack once a week to all students.
