"I'm not very pleased ... Anyone who knows about this, get in touch with me and I'll offer a reward to anybody who can figure out who's got them or who did this," said Brian Legge, owner of Legge's Carpentry.

One of the company's construction trailers, parked at 341 Old Airport Rd., was broken into during the early morning hours on Tuesday, he said. The perpetrator broke the locks and stole seven or eight nail guns and a rock drill, according to Legge.

This was the first time in nine years that someone has broken in and stolen something from the company, he said.

David Elliott of the RCMP in Yellowknife said police are looking for a male suspect driving a blue hatchback car. Elliott said he could not provide a suspect description.

Still, Legge is confident that the perpetrator will be caught. Until then he is taking extra precautions with the trailer, adding he has backed it in so that the rear door is up against the office the company is building and at night employees park the Bobcat in front of the side door.
