INUVIK - On a lovely, sunny and warm Saturday afternoon 30 graduates took to the stage at the community hall in the Midnight Sun Recreation Complex to receive their diplomas.

Family, friends, teachers and community members watched with pride as the Grade 12 students graduated from Samuel Hearne Secondary School on June 4. The graduates had a busy day with a ceremony, photos, banquet, grad march and prom, which included the whole school.

Awards were also presented to students for high academic achievement, dedication, volunteer work and citizenship.
