The body of 19-year-old Desery Panaktak was discovered in a Cambridge Bay residence Feb. 6 after police were dispatched there at about 6:30 p.m., stated an RCMP press release. Alistair Nakashuk, 22, of Cambridge Bay, was charged with second-degree murder. He is in custody in Iqaluit pending his next court appearance.
