TLICHO - Two subsidiaries of the Tlicho Investment Corp. are preparing for a busy season on the Tibbitt to Contwoyto Winter Road.

Tlicho Landtran Transport Ltd., of which the Tlicho Investment Corp. is a 41 per cent owner, will pull 71 per cent of all heavy loads across the winter road to the territory's three diamond mines this winter, said Lana Roeland, a member of the investment corp.'s business development committee. Tlicho Landtran isn't the only company operating on the road this year.

Ventures West Ltd. Partnership will carry 130.5 million litres of fuel - about 3,000 loads and 77 per cent of all fuel, added Roeland.

"This is a company we're very proud of. We've recently acquired 60 per cent of this company," said Roeland.
