NUNAVUT
Beneficiaries of the Nunavut Land Claims Agreement will elect the first vice-president and the vice-president of finance at Nunavut Tunngavik Inc. on Dec. 13, NTI's chief returning officer announced.

Lori Idlout said the nomination period will close Nov. 5 and advance polling will be Dec. 6.

Following the election, the board will assign the elected candidates either the role of chair of the Nunavut Social Development Council or chair of Inuit Wildlife Advisory Council. The two elected candidates will also sit on the NTI board of directors.
