What better place to start then at the VHQ Movie Gallery on their last week of operation.

The store was busy where people where buying up the stores library of films at discount prices.

"The Onion," said Camille Lavallée, referring the film made based on the satirical website.

"It's just sick."

One scene that particularly stood out in her mind was one where a an actor proceeded to dip kittens into batter.

"Tideland," said Emma Smith, stating the 2005 fantasy thriller directed by Terry Gilliam (Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas and 12 Monkeys) as one her least likable movies.

"It has the most horrendous storyline ever."

Janine Wood who was general manager of the store seemed to have a lot of bad movies that came to her mind but Funny Games (2007) took first prize.

"In the middle of the movie the dude looks at the camera and says 'that wasn't suppose to happen' and rewinds the scene," said Wood.

"It's suppose to be an actual movie."

For William Vanleeuwen Dumb and Dumber spoke true to its title.

"It's just dumb," said Vanleeuwan. "They can't drive a small motorbike like that across the country...but the part with the suitcase full of money was cool."

Yellowknife Public Library employee Lisa Anderson didn't hesitate when thinking of a title.

"A Serious Man, hands down," said Anderson. "Nothing came of it, it didn't go anywhere, it was just about a man who was stuck."

Troy Decoste couldn't think of a title but a certain actor came to his mind.

"Something with Steven Seagal in it," said Decoste. "He's a horrible actor."
