INUVIK - Residents of communities across NWT gathered in Inuvik on Nov. 4 to celebrate the passing of the Olympic torch from Old Crow, Yukon, in preparation for the Vancouver Olympic Winter Games, which are set to begin in February 2010.

Torchbearers and performers from communities in the Beaufort Delta and beyond joined in Inuvik's celebratory community feast.

From Inuvik, the torch was set to pass through Yellowknife, Nunavut, and across southern Canada before returning to Vancouver in time for the opening ceremonies on February 12, 2010.
