SOMBA K'E/YELLOWKNIFE - Police are investigating a break-and-enter at Sir John Franklin High School where 14 Toshiba laptop computers were reported stolen last Thursday.

The RCMP received a call around 8:10 a.m. on Sept. 17 reporting the break-in. The perpetrators entered a classroom through an open window, according to an RCMP press release. Besides the laptops, a smart board projector, some speakers, and various computer cords were reported stolen.

The Yellowknife RCMP detachment along with the force's Forensic Identification Section are investigating.
