Twenty-five students – from schools in Hay River, Fort Resolution, Lutsel K'e and Fort Smith – participated in the program hosted by Thebacha Campus from June 8-12.

It offered students a sampling of what it would be like to have careers in cooking, carpentry, plumbing, heavy duty equipment and auto mechanics, computers, natural resources technology and aircraft maintenance and operation.

The program is part of the South Slave Communities' Learning Network, a partnership involving Aurora College, the South Slave Divisional Education Council, and the Department of Education, Culture and Employment.
