Goose, who is now in Winnipeg, shot the video earlier this month.
The video's theme is based around the same idea as the song, she said. "There are times when you just want to leave, to go anywhere you want," she said. "It deals with the feeling of being trapped, then being free and doing what you feel." Goose said the video shows her walking and pondering her future with her lover. She said the video expresses her feelings and is a good representation of the song. "In the end, we're close and we'll be friends, but where I'm going, he can't come," she said. Goose said shooting the video came as a surprise. "I knew a filmmaker from a few years back, we met at a conference," said Goose. The filmmaker, Riel Munro, is in Winnipeg shooting a movie with actress Renee Zellweger. Goose said she was performing at an open mic event in Winnipeg when she was approached by Munro. "I just got off stage when he came up and said hello," said Goose. "We talked a bit then he told me about his work he was doing." Goose said once Munro learned she was in the city learning about the industry and taking music lessons, he offered to help direct and shoot a video for her song. "The video is for the track Anywhere," said Goose. "Laurie MacNabb wrote it for me." Goose said the experience was wonderful, with a lot of nice scenery. "We shot the video down by the Red River walking trails," she said. The video also features a former hockey player named Tim Kirlucke, playing Goose's love interest. Goose said Munro will edit the footage, which was shot in HD technicolour, over the next few weeks. "Once the video is done, I'll send it out to get a response," she said. Goose plans to release the video to the Country Music Television network and the Aboriginal People's Television Network. "There is a program on CMT called Cross-country Roads," said Goose. "It's a show where viewers vote on the videos and choose the best." Along with sending the video to TV networks, Goose also plans to upload the video onto the Internet. "I'll be hosting the video on a few friendship sites and my own," said Goose. Still photos were also taken during the shoot, which will be uploaded to her website soon. Goose said she wants the whole country to hear her voice and see her product. "I hope it gets spread and played throughout Canada," she said. Her CD is also being sent out this week for distribution. The album should be at local retailers soon.
