SOMBA K'E/YELLOWKNIFE - Yellowknife RCMP have issued a warrant for Jesse Wade McEwen in connection with an aggravated assault incident on June 19.

Twenty-seven-year-old McEwen of Yellowknife is wanted in connection with an assault on a Ndilo man outside Bruno's restaurant on 53 Street.

He has been charged with aggravated assault and a warrant for his arrest was issued Thursday, but police have so far been unable to locate McEwen.

He is described as a Caucasian male, standing 6-foot 2-inches and weighs 154 pounds, with short brown hair and blue eyes. His left arm is covered in tattoos.

McEwen has also been known to go by the name Jesse Hampton.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Yellowknife RCMP immediately.
