Yellowknife (Dec 29/06) - Two men were stabbed, and two more people were beaten outside a downtown home on 51st Street in the early morning hours of Dec. 23.

Police say officers were flagged down by two males who were bleeding from multiple knife wounds to the upper body. Another male and another female were later found to have been assaulted in what appears to be a related incident. They were all taken to hospital by ambulance and later released.

No charges have been laid so far as the investigation is ongoing, said RCMP Const. Simon McDermott.

Police are currently conducting interviews to gather more information on the incident. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Yellowknife RCMP Detachment or Crimestoppers.
