Tusarvik principal Leonie Aissaoui says the two have been highly successful with their efforts, which are appreciated by the younger students at the school.
"Basically, theyre reviewing a number of children's story books we have at the school that aren't written in Repulse Bay dialect," says Aissaoui. "Tagornak corrects the dialect and Bernice (Malliki) is typing the changes for him.
"They sit together every day so Tagornak can go over the books and correct the mistakes.
"After Bernice gets the corrections all typed up, they tape them in the books over the original pages so the students can read the book in local dialect."
