Cambridge Bay (Mar 13/06) - A Cambridge Bay snowmobiler is dead and another remains in critical condition when the machine they were riding ran into a telephone pole March 10.

The driver, Daryl Epilon, 20, died before emergency crews arrived on scene.

Police will not release the name of the passenger - a minor - until notifying all her family members.

"As of right now, it just looks like an accident," said Const. Robert Kellock Saturday. "They were on a snowmobile trail and they just veered off a little bit."
