Inuvik (Feb 13/06) - The End of the Road Music Festival coffee house jam series began with lots of great performances on Feb. 3.

"Anybody who wants to come up and play a song, you're among friends," said event organizer and musician Jonathan Churcher, who later added that he hopes there will be another event a month leading up to the August festival.

Some of the musicians who stepped up to play included Inuvik's Strings Across the Sky, who demonstrated their fiddling talents.

Razzamajazz! played some tunes from their new CD, The Sauna Sessions, the band's debut recording.

The Inuvik jazz band will travel to Yellowknife this week to perform at various
venues during the Aurora Festival.
