Inuvik (Nov 14/05) - For kids in Inuvik, the recent snowfall was a blessing.
It quickly became ritual to hit the hills right after school, said Ryan Ballas-Kuzman.
"We come out here almost every day," said Kuzman.
"It's great. Always a fun time with friends."
Kuzman and his band of brothers spend their time experimenting with new tricks, and different ways to go down the hill.
For some, it isn't the snow, it's the thrill of the ride that draws them out.
"I do it for the rush of the speed, man!" exclaimed Evan Lemieux.
"It gets very fast."
The snow trails aren't the only tracks to sled on in Inuvik, as Charlie Conley and his friends found out.
After the blizzard hit Inuvik, plows, loaders and other big rigs quickly started to clean the snow from Inuvik's streets.
This resulted in many large snow piles found all over the community.
"Some of them are nice, and steep," said Conley.
"Sliding is fun, no matter where you do it."
