Yellowknife (Sep 16/05) - Some aspiring painters in Yellowknife are joining together to talk about, learn about and create watercolour paintings.
"We want to build a grassroots network of watercolour painters," organizer Shawna Lampi-Legaree said.
"How else do you learn if you don't start a group?"
People of all ages and with all levels of experience - or inexperience - are encouraged to get involved.
There will be opportunities to show and tell, share techniques and work together to host visiting instructors.
The first meeting is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 19 in room 205 of Northern United Place.
Participants will introduce themselves and discuss their interests and ideas for the emerging group.
