Yellowknife (July 20/05) - Building on the work of previous companies, Pathfinder Resources started its summer exploration program this week.

Work on the Thelon Basin uranium project, located 500 km northeast of Yellowknife, will be roughly a month long, with a budget of $400,000 on two million acres, said John Gomez, investor relations officer with Pathfinder. Pathfinder is working with Diamonds North Resources Ltd.

Airborne survey work as well as on the ground rock sampling will help identify radioactive boulder trains, including one 20 km long that was previously identified, he said.

Occurrences of uranium have been found in rocks and lake sediments on the property. Results from the summer work, expected at the end of August, will help guide future work, Gomez said.
