Iqaluit (Mar 28/05) - Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man accused of exposing himself to young girls.

According to RCMP, a man exposed his genitals to three pre-teen girls on the afternoon of March 4.

The suspect is described as a chubby man who wore a blue sweater and a white balaclava. He drove a black GMC SUV with two white pin stripes and pulled up to the girls along the 2400 block of town, before heading towards Happy Valley.

Police say a similar incident occurred in February.

They're asking the public for more information, especially a licence plate number.

"There are lots of black vehicles around town," said Sgt. Dale McLeod.

Police also remind the public that children shouldn't talk to strangers.
