Inuvik (Sep 24/04) - For Franklin Charlie, returning to his home -- a tent pitched near Boot Lake -- a month ago was not a pleasant experience.

"Somebody burned my tent," he said. "I lost all my clothes, food. I lost everything."

Though unfortunate, this is not the first time marauders have torched Charlie's home in the past two years.

Third time

"This is the third time they've done this," he said, referring to the kids he believes were responsible. "They have no discipline. You see what I got on? That's all I've got."

Charlie, who lives outside year-round, says he reported the incident to the RCMP.

He said some officers came around to, "check for tracks."

Meanwhile, shelter has been found for Charlie at an apartment building in town.

Calls to the RCMP regarding the incident were not returned as of press time.
