"A neighbour heard the accident. They said they saw two guys standing outside of a blue pick-up truck," said Steve Matthews, a friend of the person who owns the damaged home.
The truck was travelling at a high speed before the crash, RCMP confirm.
A 36-year-old Rae man has turned himself in because of his connection with the collision. The man will likely be charged with failing to remain at the scene of an accident, though the RCMP did not know whether he will be ticketed or charged with a criminal offence. The suspect has been released until a court date is set.
There were no injuries caused by the crash and alcohol was not mentioned as a factor, RCMP said. Damage estimates on the house and vehicles were unavailable.
