Yellowknife (Apr 21/04) - What would you like to see built at the Gerry Murphy arena site?

David McCann: "A public market. I'd like to do it there. I have no interest in a courthouse on that site."

Doug Witty: "At this point, I'd like to see more green than brick. I'm a little soft on (WCB building/courthouse)."

Mark Heyck: "(WCB building/courthouse) wouldn't be my first choice. That would be a prime spot for a library in the future, a park in the interim."

Blake Lyons: "I'm not leaning that way right now (WCB building/courthouse), but I'm not saying 'no' to anyone. The public has got to let us know."

Bob Brooks: "I'd like to see a library built onto City Hall, and the rest of Gerry Murphy as an extension of Somba K'e Park."

Wendy Bisaro: "My first choice is a public-use space. My second choice would be a low-rise public-use building, but definitely not an office building."

Alan Woytuik: "I'd like to see an atrium attaching a library to City Hall. Thumbs down on (WBC building/courthouse). I think a courthouse could be built anywhere."

Kevin O'Reilly: "I certainly support public use of this area. It's very clear from my perspective."
