Yellowknife (May 14/03) - Five projects and 11 Northwest Territories students are off to the National Heritage Fair at Sudbury, Ont., in July.

Last weekend the top territorial competitors from Yellowknife, Inuvik, Aklavik and Deline met at the Prince of Wales Heritage Centre for the final leg of the annual competition.

The Yellowknife winners include Carter Stirling, Jaya Bastedo, Kyle Thomas, Rebecca Canam, Nimisha Bastedo, Megan Liske and Tamica Lewis. Yellowknife resident Angela Gzowski, will attend as an alumni member.

Also attending is Cecelia Grendad and Shayla Anez of Aklavik and Valerie Mackenzie and Carla Kenny of Deline.
