Yellowknife (June 19/02) - The Romanow Commission and the National Aboriginal Health Organization (NAHO) will be hosting a forum on June 26.

Entitled Dialogue on Aboriginal Health: sharing our challenges and successes, the forum will take place in Aylmer, Que.

First Nations, Metis, Inuit and urban aboriginal participants will be encouraged to share their experiences -- good and bad -- with health care delivery.

Four moderators, representing each of these four groups of people, will be present.

People from across the country who are unable to participate in discussion in person will participate by phone.

Dr. Judith Bartlett, NAHO's chair, will summarize the discussions and provide the closing remarks.
