NNSL (Dec 22/97) - Flint Construction Northern Ltd., the Norman Wells subsidiary of Flint Canada Inc., and Norman Wells Claimant Corporation have entered into a joint venture agreement forming a new oilfield construction company.

Arrowhead Construction Ltd. is 51 per cent owned by Norman Wells Claimant Corp., a subsidiary of Ernie McDonald Land Corporation.

Norman Wells Claimant and Ernie McDonald Land are Metis-Dene subsidiary companies.

Arrowhead will provide general oilfield services including plant and pipeline construction to producers in the Norman Wells area.

The joint venture's general manager is Garry Lane who will continue to manage Flint Construction. Operations foreman is David Hodgeson. Larry Tourangeau and Edward Hodgson represent the Norman Wells Claimant Corp. Both are Arrowhead directors.
