NNSL (Sep 10/97) - After hearing a day and a half of testimony, a territorial court judge put over the remainder of Wing Lee's preliminary hearing into sex and porn charges until Sept. 22, to allow all parties involved to attend.

It was hoped the preliminary hearing would have wrapped up late Friday afternoon.

The court heard testimony from alleged victims and members of the RCMP and viewed portions of sex videos Lee is alleged to have made without the knowledge or consent of the young women and girls.

The television was screened off from members of the public during playing of the videotapes.

In a departure of normal procedures, Judge Brian Bruser lifted the publication and broadcast ban on the preliminary hearing, with the exception of the identity of the complainants or alleged victims, which remain protected.

Several of the witnesses are under the age of 18.

Lee has already been ordered to stand trial for gambling and weapons offences. A court date has not been set for that matter.

Lee will remain in custody until the preliminary hearing resumes.
