NNSL (June 18/97) - Police say they have identified more underage girls in videotapes seized from a Yellowknife man's residence recently.

So far, police have laid seven charges against Wing Lee, 61, including child pornography and paying someone under the age of 18 to have sex, as well as firearms and gambling offences.

"We are so overwhelmed by information coming in," said Staff Sgt. Dave Grundy. "It's getting bigger and bigger."

However, Lee, says police are wasting their time.

"The police keep looking and looking, but (I'm) not guilty," said Lee, Monday afternoon.

He maintains that RCMP are blowing the case out of proportion and are looking for crimes that just haven't been committed.

While police are confident that further charges are coming, they aren't certain when they will be laid.

Grundy said Mounties will be looking at more than 1,300 videotapes seized May 30 from Lee's Gold Range Hotel room.

By Monday they had viewed 200, and Grundy anticipated investigators will continue for 10 hours a day until August or September.

Grundy said Lee's release conditions forbid him from associating with girls under 18 or playing games of chance. He must also remain in Yellowknife.

Lee is scheduled to appear in court July 22.
