According to a news release from the Mounties, Yellowknife RCMP G Division received a request from Edmonton Airport RCMP on July 10 asking for help to locate Andrew Moore, 17.

RCMP stated Moore was last seen at the Edmonton International Airport on the evening of June 30 while he was boarding a flight bound for Yellowknife.

Police have not said why Moore was coming to Yellowknife or whether he has family or friends in the area.

They have also not said where he lives.

Moore is described as male with a slim build, 123 pounds, 5'8", with brown hair and eyes.

"Moore is believed to be in Yellowknife at this time and the RCMP need to speak with him personally to ensure his well being," stated the news release.
