The school took place at Bennett Field between Deline and Tulita and taught participants traditional skills, such as setting nets and sewing, but also included a multimedia component.
Hands On Media Education, a Montreal-based company that delivers media workshops, worked with students to create digital stories about their time on the land.
Participants also earned their firearms possession and acquisition licences.
The program was open to youth between 18 and 30 years old.
