Baker Lake
A female travelling on foot was struck and dragged by
a snowmobile in front of the wildlife office in Baker Lake
at about 10:30 p.m. on March 13.
She was taken to the Baker health centre shortly after
her ordeal happened and then had to be medevaced for
further medical treatment.
The Baker Lake Detachment of RCMP was looking
for any information in regards to the incident, as the
driver did not stop at the scene after striking the female
and continued to drive towards Indian Village.
The snowmobile that struck the female is suspected

As of press time, no further information had been
released on the hit-and-run incident.
