Inuvik - A desktop calendar on sale in Inuvik may help save teeth in Africa.
Simon Jozzy and the Healthy Smiles Society are fundraising to visit Zimbabwe to provide needy children with dental care.

"The dental services there are very low," said Jozzy.
"They need help from us."
Jozzy, who is originally from Zimbabwe, is the president and founder of the organization, which is based in Inuvik.
The group has been raising money since last year for the overseas journey.
The calendar will be on sale at the craft fair this month.
Jozzy said the organization got a lot of support from the community last year.
"We were given $800 at the craft fair last year, and we didn't have anything to sell," said Jozzy.
"People saw who we were and wanted to help."
Jozzy said that the society's help will make a difference.
"Nothing will change until an organization like ours goes in to give a hand," he said.
The group of 10 workers plans to make the trip in July 2008.
"Three are dentists, each with assistants. We will also have a support staff," he said.
"We are ready, we just need the money," he said.
The desktop calendar was an idea from a friend of Jozzy.
"We tried to campaign, but it wasn't going well," he said.
"I have a friend in Edmonton who told me he raised a lot of money with a calendar."
Jozzy said that the desktop calendars are already on sale throughout town.
"We have reached an agreement with some businesses to sell them as well," he said.
"Just look for the sign in the store."
The calendars cost $10, and feature photos by Howard Townsend.
"$10 might sound a bit expensive, but remember you are helping kids in need," said Jozzy.
