Tuktoyaktuk - Four people from Tuktoyaktuk have entered the race to become Nunakput MLA.

Those running are Eddie T. Dillion, Vince J. Terry, current mayor Jackie Jacobson and the incumbent Calvin Pokiak.

The Nunakput riding is the northernmost riding in the NWT, and covers Tuktoyaktuk, Paulatuk, Sachs Harbour and Ulukhaktok.

The election happens Oct. 1.
