Yellowknife (Aug 09/06) - A man who witnesses say drove his truck into the back of another vehicle found himself being attacked by a woman, then locked in handcuffs this past Thursday.
The incident happened late on Aug. 3 near Ecole St. Joseph school where hundreds of people gathered to watch a fire that destroyed part of the school.

Eyewitness accounts said the driver of the truck wanted the car to move and, when he grew impatient, used his truck to push it out of the way.
"We pulled in and I heard the crash of the car. I saw the car moved by the truck, and I saw people running up to the truck," Nicole Peltz said. "The woman was screaming that her baby was in the car."
According to Peltz, people ran to the truck and pulled the driver out onto the street, where a fight ensued.
"She got out of the car and they started fighting."
The man went to the hospital and was kept overnight to treat his injuries.
"The male driver will be facing charges," said RCMP Const. Colleen Werrell, Tuesday. She said he's facing three charges: impaired use of a motor vehicle, refusing a breath demand and dangerous driving.
"No charges have been laid (against the woman) yet. It is still under investigation."
No names of the people involved in the incident were released.
