Yellowknife (Mar 24/06) - A trial date has been set for two men accused of dealing drugs near Yellowknife high schools.
Robert Bonnetrouge and David Windle made a brief appearance in territorial court Tuesday before Judge Michel Bourassa. Their trial is set to begin July 20.
Bonnetrouge plead not guilty to a charge of mischief and breach of undertaking, but not guilty to a charge of possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking.
Windle had already pleaded not guilty during a March 7 court appearance to two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking.
Last November, Yellowknife RCMP raided a rental house where it was believed drugs were being sold and used by high school students.
Police say surveillance showed 26 teenagers entering and leaving the residence over a two-day period.
Police seized one kilogram of marijuana, 250 grams of hashish and 14 tabs of ecstasy.
