The break-ins occurred between Nov. 15-28. Items stolen include electronic equipment, cash and alcohol.
Two other businesses reported that they had damage done to their property that exceeded $1,000 during those same two weeks.
In all, police responded to 428 calls for service, of which 167 were to assist with intoxicated persons, during that time.
There were three theft from vehicles reported. Prescription medication and alcohol were items stolen.
There was one report of possession of cannabis and another of cocaine trafficking.
There were 37 common assaults reported to the RCMP detachment. These included minor fights and domestic disputes.
There were five assaults with a weapon reported. Weapons used included a knife and a crowbar.
Three sexual assaults were reported to the RCMP detachment.
Eleven reports of shoplifting were received. Items reported stolen include food, clothes, alcohol, hairspray and electronics.
There were 13 reports of impaired driving received. Three persons were charged with impaired driving and two were charged for care and control of a motor vehicle.
As well, two traffic tickets were issued.
Eight vehicle accidents were reported, six of which involved damages over $1,000 to the vehicles. The two others involved damages under $1,000.
Seven vehicles were reported stolen to police. All were recovered.
One incident occurred when an individual left her vehicle unlocked and running for less than a minute while she went inside a residence. The two individuals who stole the vehicle then stole $80 worth of gas at a gas station in Fort Providence. Fort Providence RCMP located the vehicle and arrested two individuals from the vehicle.
Both persons in the vehicle were adult males who were on probation at the time of the offence. One was from Grande Prairie, Alta., and the other is from Yellowknife. Charges are pending in this theft.
