Cambridge Bay (July 19/04) - A resident of Cambridge Bay who was out on the land hunting on Monday, July 12, discovered human remains along the shoreline of Victoria Island near Starvation Cove.

Cambridge Bay RCMP are investigating with the help of the Coroner's office.

Terry McCallum, mayor of Cambridge Bay, said the remains are "fairly old." The resident who found the bones did not want to be identified and was not giving interviews.
