Iqaluit (Oct 13/03) - The Canada-Nunavut Business Service Centre's Web site can now be read in Inuktitutat.

The site - at www.cbsc.org/nunavut - will allow Nunavut's business community to access information in Inuktitut on government programs, business start-up information, regulations and funding sources for small businesses.

The new and improved site was launched Oct. 1.

Robert Nault, federal minister of Indian Affairs and NorthernDevelopment, praised the improvement.

"This joint initiative is an excellent example of how our two governments have been working together to identify and address barriers to economic and community development in Nunavut," Nault said in a press release.

The $80,000 project was funded by Industry Canada and the department of Indian and Northern Affairs.
