Yellowknife (Sep 26/03) - Janine White can't seem to get this guy out of her head. She's only met him once, but she keeps thinking about him.

So, she's out to find him.

White lives in Ontario, but is looking for someone who lives in Yellowknife.

She only knows him as Kevin and that he is a divorced father of two and is a fighter pilot.

She met him on July 29 in Whitehorse at the 202 bar.

The two, along with a group of people, then went to the Lizard Lounge.

The next day though White says Kevin was flying back to Yellowknife and she was heading to Dawson City for a friend's wedding.

She never got Kevin's e-mail or his phone number, and can't forgive herself for that.

"The next day I told my friend Cheryl, whose brother was getting married, that I wanted to get back in touch with this guy," White said during a phone conversation from her home near Georgian Bay, Ontario.

She placed an ad in Yellowknifer but hasn't received any news yet.

"We played pool and had drinks and spent the evening chit-chatting. We probably spent six hours together. We hit it off and I grew attached. We had similar interests and I want to get in touch with him again," she said.

White is a school teacher and also works for her family construction company in Georgian Bay. She says Kevin met the bride-to-be that night as well as her friend Cheryl.
