Yellowknife (July 23/03) - A backpack that was stolen a month ago has been recovered with nothing missing.

Donna Dooley, who works at the Book Cellar, had her backpack stolen one Sunday in June.

"Somebody went behind the counter and took it while I was working," she said.

The red backpack was return on Friday by Sportsman employee Justin Kilaodluk.

"It was in one of our sheds here," he said.

"We got so busy, I forgot about it. I called her today (Friday)."

Dooley was so relieved to hear the news, that she forgot to ask for Kilaodluk's name.

"I was just so happy to have it back. I was too busy saying 'thank you, thank you, thank you.'"

After the theft, Dooley had to cancel her credit cards and renew her drivers licence.

Nonetheless, she was just happy to have her favourite sweater back as well as the pictures in her wallet.

"I'll have to buy him some doughnuts," she said.
